About
Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is a non-profit dedicated to public awareness and education about wolfdogs and wolves in the wild. Founded in 2011, it is located east of the Rocky Mountains near Cochrane, Alberta on 160 acres of land with a current pack of 55+ resident wolfdogs.
The sanctuary's mission is to provide rescued wolfdogs with meaningful, fulfilled lives while offering experiential education to promote understanding. They offer self-guided sanctuary walks, guided intro tours, and interactive tours where visitors can meet wolfdogs up close. All proceeds directly fund rescue efforts.
