Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization established in 1976 and dedicated to the preservation, protection, and proper management of wolves in the wild and in captivity. Located in Lucerne Valley, California, just 75 minutes northwest of Palm Springs.
Founder Tonya Littlewolf has dedicated her life to protecting wolves, rescuing injured and abused wolves that would otherwise be euthanized. Visitors are allowed to touch and interact with over a dozen wolves during tours held four days a week, making it one of the few sanctuaries offering such close encounters.
