About

Wolf Haven International was founded in 1982 by Steve and Linda Kuntz to provide life-long sanctuary and care for captive-born wolves. Located in Tenino, Washington, Wolf Haven provides a safe refuge for displaced wolves that cannot be released into the wild.

The sanctuary is accredited by both the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and the American Sanctuary Association, and holds the Gold Seal of Transparency from GuideStar and a 3-star rating from Charity Navigator. Wolf Haven participates in the Species Survival Plan for the critically endangered red wolf and Mexican gray wolf. The organization has welcomed more than 300 wolves since its founding and currently houses around 50 wolves on its 82-acre sanctuary.
