About
The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental education organization that teaches people about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future. As a Species Survival Plan participant, the WCC is part of a critically important effort to save two of the world's most endangered wolf species: the Mexican gray wolf and the red wolf.
The Center houses nearly 50 wolves, including ambassador wolves, Mexican gray wolves, and critically endangered red wolves. Since 1999, the WCC has been working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through education, advocacy, and participation in the Species Survival Plan for endangered wolves.
