About
Shadowland Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wolf education organization formed in 2009 in Lake Hughes, California. Founded by Paul Pondella with his wife Colette, their mission is to 'educate not eradicate' - teaching people about wolves to stop their targeted extinction.
The foundation raises a pack of Alaskan Timber wolves and offers programs including 'Playing with Wolves,' 'Wolves and Wellness' programs for veterans, special needs individuals, and those in rehabilitation, as well as 'Wolf Wisdom Spiritual Gatherings.' It costs approximately $1,500 per month to feed their pack of nine wolves.
